This year’s summer league will be held at The Prairie School starting on June 15 and will run from 5:30 till 8:30 pm depending on how many teams sign-up. There will be two leagues (Varsity (Tuesday) and Sophomore/Freshman (Thursday)) and I would like to have two teams of ten players in each league. 

 

Please check you schedule and do your best to participate in this league. The time to improve as a player is in the summer. Running, lifting and participating in other sports is a must! Playing in this league and participating in a camp will help to improve your basketball skills and help to build team unity and teamwork.

 

The first ten players that sign-up with the “Release of Liability” form and the $20 fee will be on the teams. If more sign-up, I will look into forming another team for the appropriate league. 

 

I strongly encourage all basketball players to get involved and recruit other potential players who were not part of the program last year to consider playing basketball. It is a challenge to play the game and be part of something that is bigger than you. The rewards are great and I truly believe being part of a team prepares a person for life.

 

Return the “Release of Liability” form and $20.00 to Coach Tarkowski by April 16, 2010.
